Terms & Conditions


All rates advertised on this web site are strictly subject to availability and must be booked on-line. There is a limited allocation of rooms available on the offers we advertise. There will be occasions when a particular hotel may have room availability that is only bookable at a higher tariff for a specific number of nights. Special offer rates may not be combined with any other offer or discount that the individual hotel or Menzies Hotels may be promoting. Bookings of 10 room nights or more rooms may be subject to charges if cancelled.

Special offer rates and leisure are subject to availability and are based on two people sharing a double or twin-bedded room. Single supplements may apply to special offer rates. Supplements will be applied to certain rooms. Offers do not apply to previous bookings.


You will be required to enter a credit card number at the time of booking in order to guarantee or in some instances pre-pay for your reservation. Your reservation confirmation will only be automatically e-mailed to you once your credit card details have been entered. For all pre-payment bookings your card will be charged at the time that your reservation is confirmed, for all other reservations your credit card will be charged upon your arrival at the hotel.

Cancellations, Amendments & Non Arrivals

All cancellations and amendments for bookings made with Menzies Hotels MUST be made either by calling the hotel you have booked your stay at or via the website. If you have booked with a third party cancellations and amendments can only be made with that company. When your booking is confirmed, a reservation number will automatically be supplied, this must be retained, should you need to make a cancellation and/or amendment.

Cancellations may incur a cancellation charge depending on the rate type booked. All package rates and advance purchase rates are fully pre-payable and non-refundable or transferable in the event of a cancellation. Any bookings reserved on our best available rate will have until 2pm on the day of arrival to cancel without charge. Cancellations made after this time will be charged in full.

We strongly recommend that you take out insurance to cover the cost of cancellation and safeguard against other risks.


All Menzies Hotels warmly welcome families. Children aged 16 and under can stay for free when staying in a standard room with two full paying adults (one child per adult). Please note additional room supplements apply at some hotels where larger rooms are required. Children’s meals will be charged as taken.

Breakfast is charged at £8 for children aged 6-15 years old (£10 at Menzies Aberdeen Airport Dyce, Menzies Woburn Flitwick Manor and Menzies Welcombe Hotel Spa & Golf Club). A three-course menu with a drink is available from £10 for children aged 6-16 years old, (£12.50 at the Menzies Welcombe Hotel Spa & Golf Club) alternatively they are entitled to a 50% discount when dining from the main restaurant menu. Children aged five and under eat free.

Further Information

Bedrooms are normally available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure. There are occasions, particularly at resort hotels at busy periods when bedrooms may not be available until later than 3.00pm.

Should you be staying at a hotel with leisure facilities, your rate includes membership to the Waves Health & Leisure Club for the duration of your stay. A charge will be made for use of solarium, hair and beauty salons, spa treatments and some fitness classes where applicable. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied at all times.


Some hotels accept small dogs, a small nightly charge will apply. Please contact the hotel of your choice for further details.
