‘Another successful dinner at Menzies’
Kintore Amateur Football Club has now held three Speakers dinners at the Menzies hotel in Dyce and I can advise as treasurer of the club that each one has been very successful, this in no small thanks a tribute to the Hotel and staff, right from the first contact with the Hotel management we received the very best of service, with a clear desire coming from all to accommodate our every ask. The function suite is always set up superbly, the food and table service have been exceptional, and a welcome quality these days, that of ample and well trained staff. We at Kintore A.F.C. would have no hesitation in recommending the Menzies Hotel to not only any other football club but indeed any sporting group considering a choice of venue for holding a function.

Having compered on the After Dinner circuit since 2001, I have had the pleasure of working in many hotels within Aberdeen and throughout the north and north-east of Scotland.Professionalism, timings, and staffing levels are all crucial to the running of a successful evening, and the Menzies Dyce is quite simply second-to-none. The outlook and attitude of the staff is consistently excellent, both in advance and on the night, and I rest easy in the knowledge the evening will invariably run well.

“Muad Junior Football Club Sportsman Fund Raising Dinner”
We write to express and thanks and gratitude to you and the rest of the staff of the Menzies Hotel, Aberdeen for the attention and excellent service with our Club received during the above fund raising dinner last weekend.
Your staff was welcoming on arrival. The spacious Lounge and Bar areas meant that our guests had the opportunity to mingle during pre-dinner drinks. The function room facilities were warm, clean and tidy, with the dinner tables well presents. Seating of the guests for dinner again was well managed in a timely manner, food served was of high quality and the service during the dinner was efficient and attentive.

“Comfortable Hotel”
The room I got was outstanding. The king sized bed only filled about 1/3 of the room. There was a sofa which you could actually sit on and watch TV, a rarity in my experience. Also a full range of Sky channels on the TV, also unusual or is it just the hotels I stay in.

“Good for early breakfast”
Stayed quite a few times.
Always clean, most double rooms are very spacious. Lighting not great but good internet connection. Always handy for early breakfast. Plenty of choice and always well stocked hotplate, nice to have haggis in a Scottsh hotel. Staff are always polite and helpful.

“WARMTH & QUALITY STAFF WITH YUMMY FOOD”
I have stayed before and I have to say I was not let down on my second visit. You have to overlook the outside because like a present the gift is inside the packaging. Again warm & friendly greeting and a lovely cosy reception with the fire. I was pleasantly surprised to be recognised and remembered by Miss Main the GM (This does not happen in other hotels I have stayed in) and to top it all of I have some yummy food. Perfect stay and will come back again.

“Excellent”
I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and I will continue to go back whenever I am in Aberdeen. Importantly from the arrival to departure staff were first class. Accommodation was excellent with large, clean and modern rooms. I only had breakfast but it was very good, plentiful and well displayed. The general manager is just fantastic, warm welcoming, bubbly and very knowledgeable. Looking forward to my next trip.
