Commonwealth Games 2014

July 2014 sees the return of the Commonwealth Games to Scotland for the third time. In its 20th year, the Commonwealth Games is an international sporting event involving athletes from the commonwealth of nations.

Between 23rd July and 3rd August, Glasgow will play host to 6,500 athletes and officials from 70 countries, competing in 17 sports over 11 days. Sports include; Aquatics, Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Cycling, Gymnastics, Hockey, Judo, Lawn Bowls, Netball, Rugby Sevens, Shooting, Squash, Table Tennis, Triathlon, Weightlifting and Wrestling.
