“A second 5-night stay”
As on my previous stay, I have to give top marks to Menzies Hotel, Swindon, for the excellent breakfasts, large comfortable bed, and location – which could hardly be bettered for anyone choosing to use public transport for sightseeing.

“All you need for a business pit stop”
The hotel is located in the very centre of Swindon and although there is a lot of construction currently around the area the hotel is unaffected by this. The staff are polite, friendly and welcoming and the large hotel houses modern room with HUGE beds with free wifi available. The restaurant made me something that wasn’t on the menu due me dieting and made no fuss about it at all, very accommodating.

“Christmas Party”
Having attended business functions at this hotel previously, I was very keen for our business to hold our Christmas party here – as I knew that we would receive the attention to detail required, that previous venues had not been able to offer. All through the process we were kept fully informed and updated. Even coordinating with the entertainment that we were providing. The night was superb. We were extremely well waited on. The place looked great. The food was superb. And everyone had a fantastic night.

“company xmas party”
We booked our company Christmas party with Menzies for Saturday 8th December. The staff were very helpful, and the restaurant manager made sure everything ran smoothly ran the evening very well. Becky Coomber the events coordinator was extremely helpful with any questions and problems that arose.
The food was lovely and definitely recommend the beef. The bar was quite pricey, but it wouldn’t stop me from booking a function again

“Best service in town and spotlessly clean”
We regularly stay in this hotel when we visit Swindon and really like it here. I cannot praise the staff enough and the hotel is spotlessly clean. The restaurant was very busy but there were plenty of staff on hand to ensure that the service was first class. The food is cooked and presented to a high standard although the restaurant menu was limited as they are in the process of changing it and we are looking forward to seeing what is on offer when we stay here again.
We had a small issue on our first night with our bar snack but this was quickly resolved to our satisfaction. They really do go out of their way to ensure that you are totally satisfied with your stay. This was our fourth visit this year and we will be returning to this hotel soon.

“Execellent , loved every minute”
Me and my mum have just arrived back from this wonderful hotel in Swindon . Ignore all the bad comments on it, it is absolutely excellent !! The rooms are lovely , tidy and very comfy , the food is amazing, everything is really up to standard, I absolutely love it there and would go back any day, the only thing I would have to say a little bit picky a out it is that the service of the meals is quite slow but I suppose that was just because I was there on a trip to Legoland and Longleat and it was very busy, but overall Excellent!!!! Thank you soo much.

‘Wonderful hotel”
My husband and I got married and had our reception in this hotel and we had a wonderful day. We decided to return for a night on our anniversary and once again the staff could not do enough for us, they are always so polite and helpful. The hotel is clean and pleasant and has a very relaxed atmosphere. For anyone looking for a wedding venue or just a night away I would highly recommend Menzies Swindon, whether you want a loud night on the town or a quiet night away or a wonderful wedding day to remember.
