"Jane Austen Experience"

I would not have been surprised to see Mr Darcy cantering down the long drive of this lovely manor house! The quiet location, abundance of wild life, tranquil gardens and very good food all helped make our overnight stay relaxing and enjoyable.

I would not have been surprised to see Mr Darcy cantering down the long drive of this lovely manor house! The quiet location, abundance of wild life, tranquil gardens and very good food all helped make our overnight stay relaxing and enjoyable. We chose another ‘Menzies’ hotel on our way to a mini-break in London, as our previous stay in the hotel chain (Stratford-upon-Avon) had been very positive. Although there are no facilities such as a pool/gym there are a number of garden, field and woodland walks. We were not disappointed with our stay in Room 7 and would recommend this hotel for those wanting a little bit of bygone England with attentive, unobtrusive service and excellent food.

"Lovely place for a relaxing break"

Just spent two nights here and cannot fault it in any way. Our room was extremely comfortable and well set up with lovely view over the garden to the ancient cedar tree.

Excellent food, beautifully presented and the dining room is very nicely placed with garden views.
The staff were all very pleasant and helpful and I would particularly like to thank Joan who made sure we had everything we wanted,
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

"Wonderful Staff"

I have stayed here twice on a business trip and the hotel is really lovely. What sets it apart however is the staff. They genuinely cannot do enough for you, they are friendly, enthusiastic, accommodating and responsive, really phenomenal!

Stayed here for a weekend with friends to celebrate a birthday, we booked a good weekend rate and were pleasantly surprised. Flitwick manor is a great country house hotel, set at the bottom of a long drive. Check in was effortless and we were taken to a beautiful room, large room, with big bed, sofa, all the facilities you would need and a great shower room.

We ate dinner in the restaurant which was included in our rate, which was delicious, all the staff we encountered were very polite and helpful, and we had a great night. Breakfast was very good, a small table with cereals and juices was on the side, and cooked food ordered at the table. We had a great weekend and would happily return, the addition of the lit open fire really was a lovely greeting on a cold night. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable, we shall be back!

"BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION"

Once again Flitwick Manor came up with the goods! We had organised a surprise party for my husband’s birthday and the staff kept the surprise going until we were shown into the beautifully panelled private dining room.

Once again Flitwick Manor came up with the goods! We had organised a surprise party for my husband’s birthday and the staff kept the surprise going until we were shown into the beautifully panelled private dining room. The food was excellent and as usual the staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. This is not the first time we have had a function at the Manor nor will it be the last, it’s good to be able to rely on such consistently high standards. The hotel is in a lovely setting and the whole atmosphere is one of relaxed comfort with a wonderful ambience.
